Nov 26, 2022 · I‘m not certain quality control is crazy different between the two brands. Seiko makes multiple times more watches than Doxa, but Seiko does adhere to ISO standards (9001, etc.) which does provide some assurance of quality. Seiko also has a good warranty and global customer support.

Mar 25, 2021 · Even the sold volume is quite different, the Doxa is laughable expensive. Watchgecko = $38 (and also been sold some weeks for $18). Doxa = way too expensive. $250-300 sans clasp. The diver extension is a joke and I removed it almost immediately after receiving the watch. Fit and finish is very good for the price point. I've handled multiple similarly priced Seiko divers with worse finishing. The lume is also very good, which surprised me given the negative comments online.
It wore well, kept good time, and just was generally striking. The Synchron group now owns Doxa, Aquadive, and IsoFrane straps. I currently own a Aquadive and prefer it over the Doxa I owned. But it’s because I should have just gotten the LE 300 and was not happy with the simple dial layout. Btw, Doxa is not known for their customer service.
Mar 20, 2023 · I remain a Doxa fan! I have a 200 Sharkhunter and 1200 Professional. The movements in both are solid workhorses that can be serviced by any good watch technician. I have seriously considered an Army and 600. Why? Doxa watches are everyday reasonably priced watches on which I can rely. I can buy bling and constant updates of little extra value

Jun 9, 2020 · It is the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Sub 300 T, from 1969 - 2019. The sub 300 T was the first commercially-available watch that was equipped with a helium escape valve, supposedly worked on between Rolex and DOXA. Soooo - the celebratory reproduction of one of the first watches with a HEV - DOESN'T HAVE A HEV!!
